Subject: Plant genetics changing fast: first spring wheat, now corn and beans

N Dakota, S Dakota
Spring wheat yields were better than expected, now hearing the same about corn and beans.
I guess my perception hasn't adjusted to the way newer genetic varieties perform in tough conditions.
Someone said in August after wheat harvest 'Fifteen years ago that was 20 bushel wheat: this year it averaged 40+'.
Interesting times, perspective is changing!
