Subject: RE: Any good planter salvage yards for John Deere planters?

Boone, Iowa
I will check these leads out. I am wanting to get some parts off of a 7200 or a 1770 so I can have the autophasing lift cylinders on my 7200. The kit is no longer available from Deere and I have to piece the kit together. New parts total just under $11,000. It is going to take about $30,000 to trade to a newer 1770 that would already have the rephase kit on it from the factory. I have gotten my 7200 planter set-up how I like it (other than not having central fill) with the Dawn row cleaners, 3 bu boxes, and Precision Planting row units.
