We are going to have are best dry land corn ever this year. Our worst field went 203 best 222 and the average is going to be close to 215. We are 15 miles from the Kansas line. It makes we wonder if people only post bad reports that they hear? I am not saying everything is perfect here. We are getting sudden death in our beans even with having ilevo seed treatment on them.
Look on rainfall maps for June and July. There is a strip of rain totals that sorta start in Anderson County Ks to Bourbon County to Vernon and Barton County. At least 75% of normal for the month and most of the area is 125% of normal for that time frame. You go west a little bit and its below 75% of normal in that time frame. Like always if you got rain that time of year you make yields. |
