northeastern Ohio | Your main line is plugged. The washer machine drain pipe is higher than the toilet. When the washer drains, the main fills up and comes out the toilet because it is the lowest point.
I just cleaned out the main at a rental house a couple weeks ago. It plugged about 20 feet outside the house. Luckily, I installed a cleanout in the basement. I was able to use my Electric Eel drain cleaner with a root cutter to remove all the tampons and baby wipes that had accumulated in the line....... Renters will flush everything!!!! | |
