I will take a portion of an Ira annuity and purchase an immediate annuity starting at 62 and fully paid out at 70, deffering SS till that time. Don't have to worry about earning too much either. Where else can I get 8% on my money guaranteed for 8 years? We need to get some of the IRA money spent anyway, this is the best way for us to go about it.

Please tell us more about this investment that guarantees an 8% return? Is that 8% yearly or 8% total?

Edit: or are you saying delaying SS guarantees 8%?

Yea that's what I was wanting to know also Boone, I hadn't heard of doing this before. Thanks
