Corn is still higher, than in 1975 ,when the electric was less money I must say led lights especially dusk to dawn make a huge difference. I noticed those on the electric bill. Main farm had 5 mercury vapors at 175 watts each and converted them to led 68 watts!! My bill at farm I live on is usually 70-90 More in winter if real cold then tractors plugged in and heaters in waterers running. Main farm 450-650 hoping that goes down with the silos!!! Wont miss them things |
