I think I'd go to my worst problem area, and tile 40 acres, maybe at 40' spacings. Give it three years as a test, should have some wet conditions one of those years. Then decide if you want to go further. It would cost a fortune to do the broad acreages you guys have out there. Maybe you have a fortune, if so, have at it. The problem I foresee is a pattern system is gonna pretty much cost the same there as here in north Iowa, where on average I can raise 150 percent of your yields. Much harder to justify when your gross revenue is so much less. We have quite abit of ground in the Gettysburg area, and to my knowledge there is not a foot of tile in any of it.
