I think my plan is having my land payed off and either sell it, or live of the rent.  My wife will have a retirement also to live on.  I figure at this point, I can put money away to invest, or just invest it into growing the operation for now.  If I put it away, I can't grow.  I just have to hope I can hold out working long enough to pay my debt off before I decide to retire.  If my health holds, long term plan is to eventually downsize in my late 60's, and keep enough land for a hobby farm.  I'm afraid if I walk completely away, that my be my last day here.  I'd like to keep enough to keep me busy a week or so planting, and 2-3 weeks harvesting.
