Mid Michigan | Stop and switch gears? It has a belt drive with infinate gearing. How many times do you stop and switch gears on a snowmobile when you ride it? Yes it has high and low range but the beauty of a Polaris atv is the fact that you DON'T have to shift gears. Actually the transmission in the Polaris is more like a 2015 tractor with a CVT. Pretty modern if you really think about it. Honda with a 5 speed is more like a Farmall H transmission. You have a $500 worn out atv that needs clutches and a belt. Sorry but the fault is not the brand this time. | |
