I have an old Trail Boss 325. Transmission runs very smooth and wheeler rides great. These, including mine, like to wear thru the transmission cover. Don't think this drive train would be any good for pulling. Put the rock trailer on my old Honda Fourtrax 250, which has been flawless since 1985 and has seen plenty of abuse. Suzuki 500 4wd has had its share of problems. Would go Honda if buying new.
The newer transmission is superior to the older ones. They made signifigant changes. |
