I have my FCS accounts setup as "bank" accounts. You are correct, you cannot write checks out of QuickBooks for anything other than a bank account. As another poster mentioned, we simply swap signs vs. the statement. Its not ideal from a balance sheet standpoint, but we really don't use QuickBooks for that, we end up building those in Excel or FCS online tools anyways.
