SE Nebraska | +1. I just moved to farm credit for this reason. Bank prior ran my account on zero balance all the time. If I wrote a check to someone and they called the bank to inquire about the check being good, they would basically say no...that got me in a pickle with a landlord on a rent check...real professional. Then if I wrote a check for $1, they'd swipe $1000 minimum to loc. Rack up more interest for them. The whole deal was just stupid and annoying. Glad to walk away from that, and a variety of other issues with that bank. | |
