Fry the bacon the take and put flour in the grease and brown, add milk till it is thick enough. then eat bacon and add gravy over bread or mash pototoes. We ate alot of that back in the 40s 50s 60s been awhile since I had any. not a bad meal archie ps people used to bake several loaves of bread a week depending om size of family and some would get kind of dry so waist not want not. we ate gravy bread a good bit.

Archie,we call that sawmill gravy and is easier said than done....Got to be carefull how much flour you put in or you'll never get it to liquid.......I brown the flour really long for a better taste in my opinion.Jim
