| Those bread making machines often turn up at estate sales and sell very cheap. Then they show up at next year's charity consignment auction or church rummage, again selling very cheap. What goes around, comes around...
My mother says she would never have one of those. She can well remember what a chore it was for her own mother to mix knead and bake multiple loaves twice weekly for a family of ten. To her, store-boughten pre-sliced bread was the greatest invention... since sliced bread.
