Garland Maine | I would make an offer to buy with a lifelong lease to your aunt. She will be free to enjoy her home for as long as she lives, and enjoy the money that comes from selling it. Give a reasonable value for house and buildings. This will be less than your cousin thinks they are worth, but more than you think they are worth.
Just consider that if you don't buy it then it will be sold to somebody who could be more difficult to deal with than family. | |
