oregon | It's been 30 years since I messed around with sewing. Mom had a top-of-the-line Viking with the state-of-the-art mechanical "wobbly" spools that you inserted in the machine for different stitches. She has something computerized now and I'll ask her opinions tomorrow. She still sews all the time.
Some things I remember from 3 decades ago: 1) The OLD Singers were really good machines. 2) The Pfaff was nonpareil when it came to sewing fine, delicate fabrics but I never used those materials. 3) Industrial machines really shined when it came to cordura, canvas and leather.
