I have used silos, bags and piles. I prefer a drive over pile covered with plastic. I chop 40-50 acres of corn a year and make 2 piles. I think the piles are a little better than a bag in the mud because you aren't constantly using the same track. Have to make sure you get a good pack, but it works here and is the lowest cost to boot.
