West Central Indiana | We have a 10"x36' Westfield transport auger with the low mount electric motor, I believe it's a TF model. With the current sheaves it runs a little too fast for an 8" bin unload system. I can change the drive ratio, but I'd also like to use this same auger on bins with 6" unload systems. Would it be possible to use a variable speed drive motor instead of constantly having to change the sheaves? Has anyone out there done this or have any better ideas?
Edit: Added a stock photo of the drive system, however ours is electric. Photo quality sucks because I had to zoom in.
