Yes it is possible to downgrade the module firmware without causing damage.
I have found it necessary when installing a new module connecting to an Insight.
Over application is oftentimes caused by a worn or dirty flowmeter!
I have seen the meter cal. be as low as 160, (Raven) 67.5 (Ag Leader)
