El Yunke National Forest is super. A tour of a bioluminescent bay would be nice. Lots of opportunities for beaches, swimming, & snorkeling. Tours of old plantations, coffee & sugar, are available and interesting.
North of the mountains is tropical, south of the mountains is semi-desert.
