Subject: Note: Flange axles versus bar axles.

Oregon
Keep in mind, if you want to run duals, many of the European specification tractors have flange axles rather than bar axles. A flange axle is going to be difficult to set tires to your desired row spacing.

I pulled up the UK website for CaseIH and it looks like the Magnum tractors all have flange axles.

You may not care about setting your tires up to run between the rows with your strip till- I have no idea. But if you do want to set for row-width, you might want to be certain that you can do it with flange axles and band duals rather than with the US specification bar axles and hub duals.

Edit: On your side of the continent, could you import from Australia? As I recall, CaseIH equips Magnums for the Aussi market with bar axles- if those matter to you.
