| Can be a very useful tool. Probably the best advertising a business can do. Much more user friendly than a website as people have to physically type in a web address vs clicking on your page if it pops up in their news feed. Also can be shared a few times and be seen by hundreds of people. Much easier to upload pics and update information than a website also. Definitely can be used the wrong way but is a very powerful tool if used correctly. Also very handy for keeping up with overseas friends and even people across the country. I think some people don't use it just so they can say they don't.
There are many settings you can change in order to minimize the amount of stuff you don't want to see and also the activity you have that others don't need to see.
