NE CO | The activation's can still be warrantied if it can be proven that the unit still physically exists and is still in the possession of the rightful owner. If those can not be proven, then the activation are lost with that unit.
Mainly think of it this way, if we could warranty activation's on units that burned up or get stolen, etc. Whats keeping guys from just saying they "lost" that display or receiver? When in reality they didn't, then the activation gets warrantied and they get another for free when they were actually just hiding it in the fridge in their shop or sold it to their neighbor or a number of other stories one could come up with. I'd imagine everyone could think of someone they know who might exploit this loop-hole if they could just to get something for free. | |
