MO | Yes, it's a 540. Mine came from Van Wall at Colfax. I run it on rolling ground and terraces. It does a pretty good job in the hills and terraces. It could cut 98% of the back slopes of the terraces that we put it on perfect. Probably could only cut 80% of the front slope of the terrace's, most of the terraces I farm are older and they just aren't long enough from the riser to the top of the berm. So I ran the back slopes and had my wife run the front slopes with the 30' head and our old combine. The spots it won't work the best on, I don't think any 40' head would work real good. It works great for me since we're running 2 machines now. For the money, I think they are a great buy but this one was in pretty good shape when I bought it.
