SW KS, near Dodge City | Jon, the company my brother works for is putting a drilling rig back into the Niobrara. In addition to completing all the wells they had drilled.
They've improved the fracking process and it has moved production of all the newly fracked wells up one tier. What used to be their "poor" production areas with the new fracking are now producing more than the previous good tiered production wells.
Just like everything, low prices bring about innovation and improvement. They can make money drilling new wells at 50 oil. | |
