Subject: How's that South American Crop going?

Sat

So it's time to start planting that Safrina corn crop in South America.. how's it going?

Last year.. ugh.. looks Like Florez nailed it.

Surely better than Last year..  ( http://www.soybeansandcorn.com/news/Jan5_17-Brazilian-Weather-Gener... )

Golly i guess Brazil's first Corn ethanol plant comes online this year..  ( http://www.soybeansandcorn.com/news/Jan9_17-First-Corn-Based-Ethano... )

Not sure I got it right.. but looks like a 100 myn gallon facility with plans to double that..  ??  220 myn liters in 6 months.. 116 myn bushels per year.. wow.. and gonna double that eh?  Ethanol deficit area..  sounds good..

Sounds like they have retrofitted some of the existing sugar cane plants to grind corn.. in the off season for cane.. makes sense..

Corn surplus area.. other market is 1,000 km away at exports.. growing livestock needs.. makes sense.

more plants planned.. hmm.
