cost to haul grain

Subject: cost to haul grain


When you sell grain, how many miles do you figure you can haul one way per penny extra price? For example haul a load an extra 15 miles to pick up $.05 extra would be 3 miles per penny gain. Just wondering if there is a standard rule you kind of go by.
