Central Nebraska

midwest - 11/29/2016 17:13 Thanks for the response. I think we have a cat 5 cable up there with a system beaming the internet to another location. Picostations look interesting. Are there any other systems that reach out further?

I'm going to steer you away for the picostation is your simply wanting to connect two buildings.  Use two NanoStation Loco M2 or M5 radios to create a point to point link and then use an AirGateway Pro in the shop to provide wifi access.  Picostations have their place but are not the best suggestion for a PTP link.  With two Locos you can go a mile pretty easily.  Are their products that can go further? Sure, what do yo want to spend and how high is your tower.  We could probably go 25 miles if we have $5000 and a couple 300 foot towers.
