In your post, you specifically mentioned Mid-West, so I e-mailed Mid-West and asked.

Every lab should tell you what analysis methods they use. Some have it listed on their website.  I think all labs would spell out their analysis methods on their soil test report - at least the ones that I have seen will list them.  If you don't see it, contact your lab and ask.  It's not a secret that needs to be hidden.
