NW KS/ SC ID | straight is nice, but in the wet ground, jack-knifing helps. truck can get a little speed and momentum before trailer really starts to drag down.
But, we allways turn hard right when jack-knifing, and park so tarp side is to the road, and non-tarp side is nice and exposed to the natural path the cart would take.
Cart guy knows why we have to do it that way, and appreciates the placement and jack-knifing to right to still make it easy on him.
I let a combine get stuck because he would not dump on me approaching a mud-hole. "Not full yet, get the next one" When the Steiger and cart is having issues, I think its a good sign a 2wd 1480 needs to dump, but apparently not... :) | |
