Had new yield /moisture module installed over the winter with combine in for winter special. Apparently didn't calibrate to pro600 . After finally finding error codes had me go into Toolbox and change type to VDMI.................
no help...................said next step is to send out tech to sit with a laptop for likely a few hours "diagnosing the problem"..................
Can anyone throw at me some extra steps that might work me thru it
.................Error codes indicate "line disconnected" but have checked all lines back on module on clean grain elevator etc.................

1. When you say "VDMI", do you mean "YMIU"? That refers to the box that processes the yield signal. You will have this box on 8010s through Model Year 2007. For Model Year 2008 and newer, a CAN yield sensor is used, and the YMIU is not installed.
2. "Line disconnected" typically means an open circuit. This could mean that a connector is unplugged, but could also mean that there is a problem with the wiring harness. What is the exact error code that appears with the "line disconnected" message? |
