well somethings not really making sense here, the 600's can't be up graded to more than version 27 or something like that, been a couple years that way, but you could have had a older version in, and they might have decided to "do you a favor". which if that's the case they would have been helping you out. but for whatever reason, and I've seen it happen first hand,  the updating of the rest of the system controllers gets forgotten about, or sometimes won't take, but should have been able to figure out that in the shop, except for the yield and moisture sensor.

if he's got the proper service tool he should be able to get it figured out.
