NW IL, Mercer County | Ive been a big advocate for IL farm bureau and our nutrient loss reduction strategy. I have said many times if we want farmers to jump on board with cover crops, there is going to have to be some yield/economic advantages. Next to 0 data to say yay/nay. Kind of hard to "sell" someone on the idea without any evidence period. I'm excited to get some strips put out. It sucks having to wait an entire year from rye seeding to crop harvest! | |
