I was going to post.some pictures and follow up. Planted beans into waist high rye. Field did approximately 57 bpa. This year was poorest field by far. Could have been due to hybrid, poor fertilizer as we have only farmed this field 4 years. But hills were extremely disappointing with the rains we had. Headlands that had tillage Radish were 8 bpa higher. Makes me think that compaction was a problem. Had a field go 70bpa and 100 acres of another variety do 75bpa. Still trying to figure it out but was disappointing.
