South Central Kansas, Harper County | JD1990, I could see ALL that happening, if the packers have a BIG enough STICK, that they can actually get the market to move the direction they want? Lots of Panic selling by producers and probably feedlots, as price direction looks down, and has looked down the past few months. Probably only when packers run out of beef, will the market change direction, IMO. If they are short futures and prices continue lower, they are in no hurry to add to their supplies,,,,, |
