That's what I was thinking of! Sorry, my bad. Either way we've never messed with the separator either. We've been more focused on making sure that we shell the kernel off the cover with the least amount of damage to either as possible. Thatspacers why we like whole cobs, but we don't start shelling till it's at least below 17% the more it dries in the field, the better. It might be different for you guys back east lol

But the same principle applies, the more whole cobs you make, the less that can plug up the cage
