NE SD | You had more rain in July than we did. Most of those were .2-.3" so lost half or more to evaporation that day. We had 5" of rain in August including 2.6-3" on the 10th. That's why we have been planting longer maturity beans to take advantage of those Fair time rains. I figure we lost 60+ bpa on the corn from July 1 until August 10. The rows and huge potential were there, just too much heat and tip back. | |
