| Opened up our first field today, did enough to get a good handle on it, running around 180-185. It is one of our better farms with hog manure applied every few years aph around 170, yielded 220 in 2014. This is about what I expected from this farm.
Observation from cab: there is absolutely no top end yield in this farm of ours compared to 14, just good consistent stands and yields. I hardly saw the monitor hit over 200, but didn't see it under 170 much either. In 2014 it wasn't uncommon to have the monitor running 270,280, 290 in places, and then there were the drowned out spots. | |
