If our IH dealer wasn't such a disaster I'd buy a red combine next time. Not that they don't have their issues, but I think overall they are a much simpler and less maintenance machine. I like how there aren't as many chains and belts compared to Deere....And yes, Cummins power or even Fiat power seems pretty reliable. But our IH dealer is about as unreliable and as poorly trained as it gets when it comes to their parts and service department. You have to step over empty boxes and garbage just to walk around inside the place...it's bad!!!

Don't get me started on the parts. Love the machine, hate the dealerships and parts situation. Dad made the comment the other day we should switch to green so we could at least get parts. Our dealer never has what we need but another dealer 30-100 miles away does. Dad drove 2 hours the other day after a corn head snout (I even called and made sure they had it and had it all ready) and they gave him the wrong one!! Man I was fuming when he got back.

edit - We run a 7088 so there are quite a few aftermarket parts and I try to go aftermarket as much as possible but when your in a pinch or its something special you don't have a choice.
