13.5 and 9.0 seem to be problematic. Our local small time JD mechanic just got done putting a 13.5 back into a 9870 after it blew and a few weeks before that he stuck a rebuilt 9.0 in a 9770. This doesn't count the others he's done in the last couple years. Used to think deere had good motor but maybe not anymore. Glad our IH has a cummins.....I guess.
