north central Iowa, Hampton | FIL spent almost 8 years in memory care unit. It wasn't easy. Even so, find time to laugh and appreciate the care they're getting.
Hopefully a little laugh for you:
Ole wasn't doing so well and Lena decided it was time to put him in a home. They wheeled him in and the nurses got to talking with him while Lena went on to finish filling paperwork.
Ole leaned a little left and presto, there was a nurse with a fluffed pillow!
Ole leaned a little right and again, there was quickly a fresh pillow.
Lena came back to check, found the pillows and remarked,- "Oh my, they're taking such good care of you! Isn't dat nice den... ?"
Ole sez, UffDa no! They won't even let me fart!
