EC Nebraska | Don't kid yourself there are alot of farmers with paid for land and little debt who will slide right through this down turn. Also don't let this forever doom and gloom crowd wear on you. Yes we have a big corn crop coming, but the stocks to use ratio is not overly burdensome. There will be a weather event ,whether it's next year or whenever, but at the time we will not have enough extra bushels to make up the lost bushels. As far as the soybeans, I really believe its a different animal than corn. The carryover even with a big crop is not burdensome and demand is huge. The naysayers that tell you beans are going to collapse are simply out to lunch or maybe just want it to happen. Yes harvest lows will occur but beans are not falling off the cliff anytime soon
