I was expecting bigger yields out of Iowa with the way some have talked. Impressive none the less.


Many of those counties are in the armpit of Iowa for growing corn. If those yields came through on a USDA/NASS report as actual yields, with Northern Iowa looking as good as it does, the state would average over 200 pretty easy.

I would guess many of those counties will be lower on USDA/NASS reports at the end of the day.
