I'm not sure I understand your angle. Our combine rarely sits full (8 row) unless there's a huge line at the elevator. The combine and cart driver have to work together to make sure the combine never stops. We cut out lans so we can dump from both sides. We have two trucks to one driver. If he doesn't get back before everything gets full the cart driver will take the other truck and rotate jobs. We go down the road just fine with an 8 row. I do see your point on compaction from the cart and tractor driving all over the field but if you manage how you dump inside the lan you shouldn't have to carry it all over the place.
