I just traded a 2011 Chevy with 5.3 and got another f150 with 3.5 Eco boost partly because I was scared of the afm on the 5.3. I have a 2011 f150 with 3.5 ecoboost with176000 miles and it has had nothing wrong with the engine at all except one coil pack - it does its share of pulling too.
