Subject: RE: tiling in nebraska

David Loberg Northeast Nebraska
Doing my best with the pic, but if all those draws north of the place are wet, I'd think a 8 or 10" line along the perimeter of the main draw, with 5 or 6" runs up the ditches to catch it. Tiling is a little different here than in the I states it seems, while they're shooting for across the field drainage/pattern tiling, we tend to just have underground springs, and once drained away, not much more is needed. Not sure if this area was as wet as we were this spring, may be a bad year to judge it. We had springs start flowing that haven't ran in years, hopefully they will disappear again. Does Porter Tiling still run a tiling machine in Creighton? They always had a machine there on Hwy 13 3 miles south of town. Be a little closer. Not sure on their reputation, we have P & E do all of ours, have had R & B do some in past, but had a few small issues. Last I knew P & E was getting around 2.70-2.75/ ft for 6" in the ground, mileage/risers extra
