I plan on cleaning up the trees in the waterways and narrowing them up some to facilitate water flowing. I assume you would 3 different "runs" with each one leading to a water way to discharge. I'd like to be able to control the flow as well. Get rid of early to plant and then retain the rest of the year. Also have an idea about putting water in the pond to keep it filled for wildlife/cattle for a couple weeks out of the year. Has anyone done something like this? Kind of like a horizontal well? Would you gravel pack since it is a fine silt loam soil?
