Subject: JD 985 field cultivator wings not level, I got an idea...

N IL
This spring our 985 was running unlevel and inconsistent depth on the wings. It is a 50' with 6 walking tandems controlled by a single point valve in the center.

This is a slave system that must have a cylinder leaking on to the next one, but what's an easy way to know which one is leaking??

So my idea is to make it all one-way cylinders using stop donuts for depth on each cylinder, but the cylinders are different sizes so it will lift uneven. How would a guy size restricter orifices without a major oily mess using the "trial and error" method?

Has anyone done this??
