Forget the hay...PLANT TREES!!!!!!! A variety....a wind break, shade trees, fruit trees, some mighty oaks...you won't regret it when you finally build.


Yup should have added that in. All around the boarders I'm planting trees. An one Willow a little more out in the open.


Gosh, no willow around here are welcome. Their roots invade septic systems, and if you have any water they can get into they will. Here, we avoid them like poison, treat as noxious weed. Dirty tree (always dropping twigs) but they do grow fast and big. Just think before you plant one.
In my yard a good tree is the ornamental pear. Fast grower, dont get TOO BIG, only bad thing is the leaves drop in January, no chance to rake them up with the rest of the leaves.
