north central NE | We got an Amana french door. The coils are on the floor rather than on the back where they belong. Guess they are more efficient being lower (efficient "on paper" as above poster mentioned) The reality is the coils are normally clogged with dust and it runs continuous until it quits cooling completely and then we get around to laying on the floor and vacuuming the coils with a special tool I made and then it works again until its completely plugged again. So next time I will try to get one with the coils on the back.
